Chyna Carter

Chyna Carter is an associate in the litigation practice group in the firm’s St. Simons Island office. She focuses her practice on construction and commercial litigation matters, including engineering design liability, design and construction defects, contracts, restrictive covenants, and business tort disputes. Chyna also has experience in personal injury litigation, as well as criminal defense matters.

Chyna graduated first in her class from Mercer University School of Law in 2025 and received the George Waldo Woodruff Award of Excellence and the John William Barnett Prize for Academic Excellence. While in law school, as a member of the habeas clinic, she co-authored appellate briefs for review in the Supreme Court of Georgia and held leadership roles in the Rural Law Students Association and on the intramural sports committee. During law school, Chyna gained valuable experience clerking for The Honorable Kelly Brooks, interning with the Waycross Judicial Circuit Public Defenders Office, and working with Gibson & Associates, PC.

Chyna graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2022 with a B.A. in Political Science. She is originally from Blackshear, Georgia.
