Leslie J. Miller
Of CounselLeslie J. Miller is Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She represents clients in complex litigation matters and brings more than twenty-six years of courtroom and leadership experience to her practice.
Prior to joining McLain & Merritt, Leslie represented injured individuals and their families in complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic motor vehicle collisions, commercial trucking cases, and premises liability claims. She handled all phases of litigation through trial preparation and has extensive experience developing damages presentations in high-exposure cases involving traumatic brain injuries, serious orthopedic injuries, and wrongful death. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly two decades in insurance defense, representing clients in medical malpractice, automobile, and general liability matters, and played a key role in large-scale litigation. This experience gives her valuable insight into insurer evaluation and defense strategy.
Leslie earned her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of The Law and Psychology Review, and her B.A. in Political Science from Auburn University.
