Nicholas E. Deeb

Nic Deeb is an experienced trial attorney and litigator who has defended national and local retailers, and other property owners, in hundreds of cases in Georgia state and federal courts. His practice focuses primarily on premises liability, negligence, and intentional torts, including malicious prosecution, false arrest, and false imprisonment. Nic defends Fortune 500 companies in high-value cases involving allegations of serious injury, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, and CRPS. Nic also has extensive experience in conducting emergency-response pre-suit investigation of catastrophic events, such as shootings and parking lot fatalities, to assist clients in finding and preserving evidence, locating and interviewing witnesses, and providing early analysis of liability issues, so as to prepare the client for the best possible outcome.

Prior to joining McLain & Merritt, Nic prosecuted felonies as an Assistant District Attorney. He tried, and convicted, criminal defendants for murder, armed robbery, burglary, gang violence, and white-collar crimes.

In prior civil practice, he advised domestic and foreign insurance companies on coverage matters and litigated insurance coverage actions in state and federal courts.
